Demco Hijacker Above-Bed Base Rail Kit Installation - 2018 Ram 3500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rail Kit for your fifth wheel, with custom installation kit to make it fit your 2018 Ram 3500. Having these rails in your bed allows you to hook up to a bunch of different above-bed fifth wheels, and it's gonna be pretty standard across the board as far as all your different brands that are gonna be able to work with this. If you have a B&W, like our neighbor has today, or a Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, or Valley, they're all gonna work with this standard size rail. Now, it's pretty standard. You just have two rails that are pretty universal, and then they go into the custom kit, which allows you to bolt it up to your vehicle. And overall it's not terribly hard. more

Reese Quick-Install Base Rails Kit Installation - 2013 Ram 3500- Video
Today in our 2013 Ram 3500 Crew Cab, we'll be installing the Reese Quick-Install custom base rails and outboard installation kit for fifth wheel trailer hitches. Part number RP56010-53. All right, so here's what our rails look like now that they've been installed. As you can see, it's a nice, clean look. It doesn't take up very much of our truck bed at all. Covers our width of truck bed nicely. more

Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Ram 3500 - Curt- Video
Today, on our 2014 Ram 3500 we're going to be taking a look at, and installing, the Curt custom 5th wheel installation kit, part number C16426-204. Here's what it looks like with our Curt Q24 installed. It works well with these but it will also work well with other manufacturers. As you can see, with the rails installed, it's nice and easy to remove the hitch and also reinstall it. Here's what these 5th wheel rails look like, once they're installed in the truck. These 5th wheel rails are going to provide nice, heavy duty mounting points for your 5th wheel hitch. One of the nicest things about these rails is that they're compatible with various other 5th wheel hitches, such as Draw-Tite, Reese, Husky, or Valley. more

Demco 5th Wheel Underbed Rail Kit Installation - 2013 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2013 RAM 3500, we're going to take a look at installing the Demco Underbed Rail and Install Kit for the Demco Hijacker UMS Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches, part number DM8551006. With your under mount system, it's going to allow you to mount the Demco Hijacker UMS Double Pivot Fifth Wheel Chariot. Now without our hitch installed, we have some rubber plugs that are going to go over the holes, help keep out dirt and debris. You want to make sure you keep this area in here lubed up where your pins will fit, just to keep corrosion out. This fifth wheel hitch is designed to carry 21,000 pounds. It's got a 360 degree jaw to king pin contact. more

Today on our 2016 Ram 3500. We'll be taking a look at and installing the custom under bed insulation kit for the BMW companion 5th wheel trailer hitches, part # BWGNRK1314-5W. This 5th wheel insulation kit is designed to let you install your BMW companion 5th wheel trailer hitch part # BWRVK3500 or part # BWRVK3400. With the system in place it takes less than 5 minutes to install or remove your companion 5th wheel from the bed of your truck. First we'll unlock our hitch and then remove the ball since the 5th wheel sits in it's place. The first time you install it you can adjust the upright before placing on your head. more

Today on our 2014 Ram 3500 Mega Cab Dually, we're going to be installing the B and W custom underbed installation kit for B and W Companion Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches. Part number BWGNRK1314-5W. Now here's what our B and W turnover ball gooseneck hitch looks like installed in our vehicle. To begin with, we're going to go ahead and lower down the spare tire and set that out of the way to give ourselves a little more working room. We'll go ahead and remove the spare tire shield as well. We'll need to take out the two bolts that are right here. more
